The terms for astrologers taking consultations on Josi.

You are independent

You are an independent practitioner, not an employee of Josi. You set your own rates and availability, and you are responsible for your own taxes and any professional registration your jurisdiction requires.

Getting paid

Payment is taken from the seeker when they book, and is held. Your balance becomes payable 72 hours after the consultation is delivered — not 72 hours after booking — so a session booked weeks ahead is not paid out before it happens.

Payouts run through Stripe Connect and require your identity verification to be complete.

Josi deducts a platform commission and payment processing fees from each consultation. Both are shown before you accept a booking.

Refunds come out of your balance

If a consultation is refunded to the seeker — by cancellation, by no-show, or by dispute — the corresponding amount is debited from your balance. If it has already been paid out, the debit is recovered from future payouts, which can leave your balance negative until it clears.

It is not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or professional advice, and must not be used as a substitute for a qualified professional. Never delay or disregard professional advice because of something you read on Josi. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line.

Do not diagnose illness, promise cures, predict death, or advise on stopping medical treatment. Do not solicit clients off-platform to avoid commission. Do not represent AI-generated text as your own reading.

We may suspend or remove a practitioner for breaching this section.
